Fourth Annual Party for the Bulletin!

 Fourth Annual Party for the Bulletin Friday 27 January, 2012.

Only a day to go before the Fourth Annual Party for the Bulletin! There are still a few tickets available but they are going fast. The party will sell out this year as it always does so if you want a ticket go to Valhalla Pure Outfitters in Courtenay, Tarbell's Deli in Cumberland or by phone from Island Alpine Guides at 250 400 2870. Tickets are $10.

The party for the bulletin is returning to it's spiritual home, the Riding Fool Hostel in Cumberland. We've got three awesome bands for your entertainment: Pamela Tessman Trio, Helen Austin and bulletin party mainstay, Luke Blu Guthrie Band. These artists promise a great variety of fine music, dancing and delight.

As usual the silent auction will be a big draw, there will be beer. food, raffle prizes and much more. Silent auction items announced to date include a couple of days of heli skiing, K2 and Rossignol skis, avalanche transceivers, lots of ski passes from both Mount Washington and Mount Cain, outdoor gear from Valhalla Pure Outfitters in Courtenay, an avalanche course, a surf package, amazing works of art and much more.

 

Cona Hostel is providing a shuttle from Courtenay to the party and back as follows:

Departing Courtenay Cona Hostel @ 8pm and 9pm
 
Departing Cumberland Riding Fool Hostel @12pm and 1pm
